Movie Review: Igor (2008)

11 Mar

Animated movies have been focusing on good characters and living happily after, In any movie the villain character always takes my attention, Igor was really different from the usual,  the main character is pure evil assistant, even if it reminded me of Tim Burton movies, yet still I had a great time watching it.

The story is about a cliché hunchbacked evil scientist’s assistant who aspires to become a scientist himself, much to the displeasure of the rest of the evil science community, what I liked is how they created a society that is so evil, and the jokes were hilarious.

Igor invented two things, talking brain and a rabbit that never dies, and his latest invention is creating life!!.  both of the characters were funny, specially the rabbit with his suicide attempts.

The character Eva is really great to watch, where she was not perfect in proportion of hands and legs, Igor struggles to make her evil to impress the evil society. If you liked Night Before Christmas, then you will definitely will enjoy this one. For me it was better because it wasn’t musical, and full of great jokes and funny moments.

I would give it 8 out of 10
